Detroit Means Business is Detroit’s small business assistance program offering access to resources, information and experts to ensure businesses can safely reopen and successfully operate moving forward. It is comprised of a coalition of many organizations and advised by a group of Detroit’s small-business owners committed to providing trusted support to help businesses succeed.
Small businesses are the backbone of Detroit’s economic vitality. They are the primary drivers of our city’s job creation, constituting 50 percent of Detroit’s employment. We know there are tens of thousands of small businesses in our city that need this program, all of which are critical to Detroit’s future.
