Brian C. Moore is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Reliant Group, LLC, a management consulting firm he originally launched in 2002. After nearly two decades of successfully operating the Reliant Group, focusing on the strategic growth and development of minority and diversity-owned businesses, Brian was requested by Flex Automotive to support them as a Business Management Consultant in 2017 to manage the launch of a minority Joint Venture project. Following that venture, Brian spearheaded and implemented the structure and launch of the Flex Automotive Supplier Diversity program, while also supporting their DEI initiatives. Upon Flex's request, Brian onboarded with Flex in 2020, built and led the Supplier Diversity Program for Flex Automotive, while working closely with various advocacy organizations, and mentoring diverse suppliers. Brian successfully completed his work with Flex in 2024. Brian has now fully resumed managing Reliant Group, LLC, bringing with him his extensive experience in Supplier Diversity, DEI, and multiple other corporate knowledge skill sets.
A recipient of numerous awards for his advocacy in supplier diversity, Brian was recognized as an ACE Ambassador for MMSDC’s “Advocate of the Year” category in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and earned Corp! Magazine’s “Diversity Business Leader” Award in 2020. He also received the Advocate of the Year Award from the GLWBC in 2021 for his contributions to advancing diversity initiatives.
Brian’s career began as a Secret Classification Systems Engineer at Boeing before transitioning into the automotive sector, where he held key roles at General Motors, ITT Automotive, and Bing-Lear, among others. His roles spanned engineering, program management, and business development, allowing him to build a comprehensive understanding of the automotive and supplier diversity landscapes. Inspired by his work in diverse industries, Brian founded Reliant Group, which has supported businesses in the automotive, oil, gas, energy, and environmental sectors both domestically and globally. His consulting firm provides expertise in business strategy, program management, quality improvement, engineering, and business development.
Brian holds a B.S. in Engineering from Southern University and completed Executive Leadership studies at Cornell University. He remains actively involved in the community as a board member of the Mint Artist Guild for Inner City Youth, and serves on various diversity-focused boards and committees. Passionate about supporting underrepresented businesses and advancing supplier diversity, Brian continues to leverage his 34 years of corporate and consulting experience to drive growth for his clients.
In his personal life, Brian resides in Detroit, MI, enjoys tennis, golf, travel, and art, and is committed to making a difference in the lives of future generations.
