DIA Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month 2023 (AAPIHM) 2023) Celebration
The highlighted events in the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month 2023 (AAPIHM 2023) series program started on May 5th to May 27th at DIA’s Detroit Film Theatre (DFT), Cultural Presentations at various dates and times. With the rich and exciting cultural activities, we cordially invite you to share with us the celebration of AAPIHM in the heart of Metro Detroit!
DIA AAPIHM 2023 series program enhances AAPI community groups’ voices and experiences by showcasing a blend of traditional and contemporary dance, musical, art, and more. Cultural Presentations invites AAPI artists based in Southeast Michigan come together to showcase their work informed by the traditions of their ancestral homes and their lived experiences in America.
