This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Detroit, Michigan, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

General Motors is seeking a seasoned Financial Communications professional to proactively tell the company’s growth story, expand its investor base, and strengthen the company’s reputation with the business and financial community.

What You’ll Do

This team works closely with the CEO, CFO, and Investor Relations to plan quarterly earnings announcements and investor conferences. In addition, the team leads internal and external communications for quarterly sales, the annual shareholders meeting and proxy filing, corporate finance, M&A, corporate economics, corporate compliance, the company’s venture capital team, GM Defense, and the GM credit card portfolio. 

The successful candidate will work in all these areas and be directly responsible for sales reporting and analysis, internal communications for the CFO and Finance organization, the annual meeting and other projects as assigned.
