What you’ll do…- Lead the assembly and machining controls engineering deliverables for PTO programs, from simultaneous engineering through program launch for all Global PTO sites.
- Implement and apply standard software and hardware controls architectures across all programs/plants, following the PTO controls specification.
- Ensure the identification and capture of lessons learned along with their application to new programs, as well as the impact to existing strategies and standards.
- Lead simultaneous engineering meetings with Tier I suppliers to orchestrate controls program reviews with all interested parties.
- Participate in management program reviews and represent the controls organization in commodity discussions.
- Drive the controls organization to resolve issues, including feasibility, timing, cost and workload.
- Handle current scope program responsibilities.
- Deliver new model program work for various Powertrain programs supporting and working in either SE MI, Ohio or Windsor, ONT.
- Travel up to 80% during peak program times (largely regional across S.E. MI) when not at the Van Dyke plant.
- Work off shift, as the need arises, during peak program install and launch times.
