To meet the growing needs of the mobility business, the CSE team is looking for a self-motivated, technically proficient individual to craft and shepherd coherent solutions. This will require collaboration with a range of stakeholders to clarify requirements, establish pragmatic approaches, and support and articulate decisions over time. You will join a cloud architecture team that works closely with engineering teams and other architects across the organization. 

What you'll do...

• Serve as a Cloud Solution Architect to guide the design, development, and support of platforms, APIs, and services that deliver a geographically distributed IoT platform
• Help unify existing platforms and develop supple, future-facing designs
• Bolster data as a product practices and tooling driven by API and data contracts
• Contribute to the cloud architecture team by helping to assess and improve its practices
• Continuously learn complex and inter-connected domain areas to make informed decisions and recommendations
• Apply requirements engineering practices to enable validation of systems
• Work with product managers to devise solutions and break them down into incremental production-ready user stories
• Work with engineering teams to refine and capture system designs
• Evangelize and enforce characteristics that enable horizontal scalability and resilience across distributed systems
• Facilitate inter-team communication to foster smoother integration and conceptual integrity
• Assess and document rationale and tradeoffs involved in decisions and re-assess such decisions over time
• Create Proofs of Concepts (POCs) to assess solution viability
• Contribute as needed to develop and support systems
