Office Manager - Part Time
Posted: 11/10/2024SMH Logistics is a warehousing and distribution operation providing domestic and international customers with solutions to their logistics needs.Duties / Responsibilities – Opportunity for remote work 2 days a week after full training- Prior bookkeeping in Quickbooks and maintaining of Excel financial documents.
- Interface with payroll service concerning pay and medical enrollment.
- Prepare invoices with strong background in excel / WMS / ERP.
- Manage and organize all company documents and data, while insuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Manage AR collections, Deposit checks at bank (2 times per month).
- Miscellaneous: Maintain meeting notes, follow up on customer visits, follow up on vendor visits.
- Support weekly and monthly reporting of key performance indicators and monthly reporting package.
- Support operations as needed to ensure accuracy of information.
- Manage office and warehouse supplies which includes tracking file.
- Oversee new hire process and maintain personnel files; I9, W2, personnel files.
- General clerical duties including; mail, answering phone calls, maintaining communication board, following up with dispatch.
Required skills- Prior experience with QB and Excel is a must.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Prior work experience in manufacturing, assembly, or logistics operations is must.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Excellent computer skills navigating though web, MS products and other software.
- Fluent Korean is required.
Education- Associates or bachelors degree
Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods of sitting at desk and computer
- Work in warehouse environment
- Reliable transportation
Pay Rate- $20 - $25/hr based on experience and skill
