John is an accomplished technology and business leader, as well as a C-suite executive. He has a proven track record of delivering transformational results in highly regulated industries, and is
known for his ability to build strong teams and relationships. John has extensive leadership experience in growth strategy, P/L accountability, digital transformation, architecture, and operations. His technical expertise includes Al/ML, Generative AI, cloud, cyber security, and regulatory compliance. He has worked in the banking, insurance, and commercial technology and software product industries.
Currently, John is the EVP and CTO at Integreon, a global leader in AI/Generative AI-enabled legal, compliance, creative, and business solutions. Integreon is owned by Eagle Tree Private Equity and has 3,500 employees. In his role, John is responsible for the strategic technology roadmap, global IT, information security, and the iLab Center of Excellence (COE) for lean process engineering, automation, and AI/Gen AI products and offerings.
Before Integreon, John was the CTO and SVP of Comerica Bank, which is one of the top 20 banks in the United States. In this role, he was responsible for enterprise-wide technology architecture, infrastructure, operations, transformation, innovation, and technology compliance. Prior to that, John served as CTO and Managing Director for a $9B+ insurance, health, and software technology firm, Emergent Holdings. There, he led cloud transformation, M&A integration, and the launching of technology platforms for joint ventures, along with regulatory and compliance responsibilities. Before Emergent, John was the CTO, Industry Leader, and Distinguished Technologist for DXC Technology and Hewlett Packard (HP), where he headed client executive partnerships, cloud strategy, and solutions development and delivery.
John is a Board Director at the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce (APACC), a member of the IBM Financial Services Cloud Council, and the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Detroit Mercy and has completed undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at Technische Universität Berlin. John is also a Harvard Business School alumni and graduate of the PLDA program.
