Calling Southeast Michigan start-ups! We are excited to announce the Michigan Central Talent Innovation Training Fund has launched and is accepting applications through Saturday, Feb. 15.
This grant program—created in collaboration between Michigan Central, LEO and Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation—will provide over $1.5 million dollars of training investment to early-stage technology and mobility-focused companies to help them acquire talent, grow operations and create economic opportunities. Eligible start-ups can receive up to $7,500 per person to train new or existing employees for in-demand roles.
The Michigan Central Talent Innovation Training Fund will help us deliver on the vision of Michigan’s Statewide Workforce Plan. It empowers start-ups to scale operations, encourages Michiganders to build meaningful careers, and supports our state’s workforce efforts through equitable access, career advancement and career readiness.
