The 2025 Rocket Classic will be held June 23 – June 29 at Detroit Golf Club and the tournament team is looking for volunteers again to help join the fun! This is an amazing opportunity to give back to the Detroit community and get involved in the behind-the-scenes effort of this award-winning event. Volunteers are critical to the success of the tournament, managing functions ranging from competition support to guest services, on-course gallery management, merchandise, and much more.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone 13 years and older can volunteer at the 2025 Rocket Classic. Select positions are available for those under 18 years of age. Knowledge of the game of golf is not required!
What’s included in the volunteer package?
Volunteers will receive an official Rocket Classic Volunteer uniform by Levelwear Golf along with parking, meals, and access to the event for volunteer shifts, and tickets for the entire week of the tournament for friends or family. This package is valued at over $600!
What is the cost to volunteer?
To offset the costs of the volunteer package and to allow our tournament charitable partners to benefit as much as possible, there is a $75.00 fee for all adult volunteers.
How many hours are required?
All volunteers will be required to work a minimum of two full-day shifts throughout the week. A full-day shift averages about 10 hours. Each volunteer committee is different, so be sure to read the requirements before registering!
In 2024, the volunteer program was awarded the honor of being named the “Best Volunteer Program” by the PGA TOUR. This award recognizes the tournament that has gone above and beyond to create a world class experience for those who volunteer their time and skillsets to make the tournament a success.
